Kitchen and Bath Designer Leads: Stop Giving Two Hours to the Wrong People

The showroom phone rings twice before lunch. One caller asks whether you take appointments. The other books Thursday at ten. On the list by the front desk, both get written down the same way: new lead.
Isn't a lead a lead? Yes and no. When kitchen and bath designer leads all go on one list, the caller who booked and the caller who was only asking wait in the same line, and your designers' attention goes to whoever they happen to reach first. Two lists settle it. One holds the people ready to talk about buying. The other holds the people who are interested and still deciding. (The sales-team names are sales qualified and marketing qualified, SQL and MQL, if you've sat through a CRM demo.)
What you'll hear:
- Why it's easier to define "ready to buy" first and "worth staying in touch with" second
- Why a referral from a builder or interior designer lands differently than a new name on your email list
- A question for sorting the not-yet-ready: who would be worth paying to get in front of?
- What the still-deciding list hears from you while your designers work with the people who booked
Some owners sort hard and watch a warm lead book with someone else, which tends to be Precision. Others can't bring themselves to sort at all and hand over the design for free, which tends to be Connection. The Sales Superpower Quiz names which of the four Dealer Archetypes you are in under two minutes and hands you the roadmap for your specific Kryptonite: fieryfx.com/superpower
